I was born in Oklahoma City in 1943 and lived in central Oklahoma until my father’s job search took us to California where we lived for three years. Returning to Oklahoma we lived in Moore where I graduated in 1961. I first met my wife, Sue, when in grade school. We began dating as teenagers and married in 1964. Sue’s devotion to Christ led me to a more careful study of the Scriptures and to be immersed into Christ later that same year. I have been blessed to serve as an elder for the Blanchard congregation of our Lord’s church since 1994. My prayer and my vision for the Blanchard church of Christ is that it will continue to grow spiritually and numerically, being instrumental in spreading the Gospel through our community and the world.
I was born on August 26, 1929 in Mountain Park, OK. I graduated from Snyder High
School in 1947 and was married to Faye Knox on February 14, 1949. We moved to the Blanchard area in 1957. I have served as a shepherd of the Blanchard church of Christ at various times since 1958, totaling 23 years. I am persuaded that the church will be a light in this community and grow spiritually as well as in number as long as we follow God’s Word. “For God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.” (2 Cor. 8:9)
